Saving Files & Sending Artwork

Stand Banner - Saving Artwork Files Guidelines Before submitting artwork files for production, please make sure that you have read and understood information below. If you require any advice regarding the submission of artwork, please contact the studio on 0800 052 1970.

Display Artwork

Please design at full size at a minimum of 72dpi. Ensure you have downloaded the correct product template before proceeding with the design of your exhibition trade show stands.

Banner Stands

Please request a banner stand template for the relevant banner stands. Also, ensure there is enough tolerance at the base of the artwork for recoil (indicated on the template).

Pop Up Stands

Design your pop up display stand artwork in either Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign. Ideally we like to receive artwork design at full size at 72dpi or greater. If you need to design your artwork at 1/4 size, please use a resolution of 288dpi.

Adobe Illustrator

We accept Illustrator PDF files. Please convert all text to outlines or embed your fonts. Before embedding your images, please ensure the resolution is appropriate.

Adobe Photoshop

We accept Photoshop tiffs, eps or jpeg files. Please flatten all layers. All files must be designed in CMYK.

PDF Files

Please embed all fonts. All images must be at the correct resolution.

Templates

Please download the correct template from our web site before starting to design your exhibition stand.

Colour Setup and Production

Client Proofs

Should be provided in the form of a hard copy or jpeg if supplied by disc or by pdf. Matrix cannot be held responsible for a client's failure to provide an accurate proof.

CYMK

all files should be saved in CMYK format. Failure to do so may result in colour variations from the intended artwork and all responsibilities belong to the client. At no point is Matrix responsible for incorrectly supplied files.

Pantone Colour Matching

is not offered by Matrix as standard. If a hard copy of the colour required is provided, Matrix may attempt to match the colour as closely as possible but can in no way guarantee accurate Pantone colour reproduction.

Large Format CMYK

Printing all large format graphics provided by Matrix are printed through a large format CMYK colour process. This process works differently from conventional lithographic printing. The process produces a far greater colour gamut, superior to conventional printing, allowing you to see more subtle tones and many more colours, deeper reds or more vivid colours. The large format printing at Matrix are calibrated to profiles for digitally printed media suitable for this process and cannot accurately match conventional lithographic printing processes. All responsibility belongs to the client for failure to understand this process and files should only be submitted by professionals who have a firm understanding of this process. Should you require additional information, please call Matrix on: 0800 246 1352.

Under pinning

to achieve a more dense black should be approached with caution and additional advice should be sought from Matrix staff before attempting this. Should you require additional information, please call Stand Banner on: 0800 246 1352.

Fonts

must be embedded with every job or fonts converted to outline. Failure to supply the correct fonts may result in errors to the finished print and all responsibility for failure to supply files correctly belongs to the client.

Templates

are provided by Matrix and available from our web site. Please confirm or request an accurate template before submitting files for print. Failure to supply files correctly may result in errors in the finished printed product. Responsibility for this belongs solely to the client. Should you require additional information please call Matrix on: 0800 246 1352.

Bleed

should be provided on all artwork (5mm minimum) on all sides before submitting files for print. Failure to supply files correctly may result in errors in the finished printed product. Responsibility for this belongs solely to the client. Should you require additional information please call Matrix on: 0800 246 1352.

Roller Banner Stand Recoil

is displayed on the template and is for the internal base recoil mechanism. This is a non-visual aspect of the stand. Text and key information should be kept clear of this and any of our template information must be removed before submitting files for print. Failure to supply files correctly may result in errors in the finished printed product. Responsibility for this belongs solely to the client. Should you require additional information please call Matrix on: 0800 246 1352.

Colour Matching

In the event that a reprint is required of any existing stand/printed material originally provided by Matrix or otherwise, please be aware that due to differing conditions/media/inks/processes used from the time the original was printed and the time the reprint is produced, Matrix cannot guarantee a perfect colour match. Matrix cannot be held responsible for any colour difference between the original and the newly printed material.

Pop up Stand Panel Alignment

is subject to a slight shift by approx 1.5mm per panel. To avoid any obvious misalignment, when designing a popup stand avoid placing any text across the panel seams. Matrix cannot be held responsible for misalignment due to artwork provided that ignores these conditions. Also, please be aware that the outer edges of any Matrix pop up stands are curved and therefore visibility of any graphic/text on this area will not be possible from directly in front of the stand. Details of this are provided on the appropriate template. It is the client's responsibility to provide the correct artwork and if unsure, should consult the studio on 0800 246 1352.
